The Burrow
Submissions F.A.Q.

Who can submit?

The Burrow is open to anyone who is or was a regular in HoneyBadger's Burrow on FurryMUCK.

What can I submit?

The Burrow is for general audiences, therefore all submissions must be no more than PG rated. Illustrations, comic strips, poems, and text stories are all accepted, however, long stories will have lower priority. If you are sending artwork, keep in mind that must be reducible to 5-1/4 x 8-1/4 inches. Things specifically relating to HoneyBadger's burrow or it's residents are preferred, but anything furry is acceptable. If you send artwork, please send only inked or heavy pencil line art.   Color, shading, and light sketches do not reproduce well in B&W.

Issue #3 will have a COLOR cover, so I will need two color images for the front and back outside covers.  Please contact me if you are interested in submitting for the covers.

When do I need to send my submissions?

The deadline for submissions for issue #3 is January 1. Submissions may be taken after that date, if space allows, but will be given lower priority.

Where do I send my submissions?

P.O. Box 2121, Vista, CA 92085

How do I send my submissions?

Regular first-class mail (or the appropriate equivalent, for overseas submitters). Please only send photocopies, no originals. I cannot be held responsible for originals that are lost or damaged in the mail. Any originals sent may be held until the comp copies ship in late-July. You will also need to include a signed copyright release, giving me permission to make copies of your art.

Why should I submit anything?

All contributors will receive a free copy of the finished 'zine, before anyone else gets one. Submitters will also be allowed to purchase additional copies at cost. Contributors will be given space to list their snail-mail, web page, and e-mail addresses, if desired. In addition, submitters may have the opportunity to be listed in upcoming editions of The Comic Book Index, published by Alternate Concepts. I have made arraignments to have those who submitted to the first issue of The Burrow listed in the 1998 edition.
